Just how many different ways has the Bush Administration tried to hide once-public information sources from the public record?

Help us count the ways....it's sickening what these republican criminals do.

The New Dark Age

Every week another apologist for President Bush compares "Bush’s fight for Iraqi freedom" to Abraham Lincoln’s "fight to free the slaves." The American civil war was not fought to "free the slaves," as Thomas DiLorenzo and other scholars have thoroughly documented, any more than the purpose of Bush’s illegal invasion of Iraq was to "bring freedom to Iraqis." The freedom excuse was invented after it became impossible to maintain the fictions about Iraqi weapons of mass destruction and Saddam Hussein’s connections to Osama bin Laden. Bush has yet to tell the real reason he invaded Iraq.

The challenges that America faces are not terrorism and oil supply. The challenges that we face are the police state that Bush has created and the disrespect for truth that is endemic in government, the universities, and the media. The US has entered a dark age of dogmas and unaccountable power.

FBI is inside every recent cellphone

"every recent phone sold in the US has a built-in tracking device that, once activated remotely, can be set to keep the microphone powered on even when the phone itself is switched off."

I never find the time to read like Atrios does, but this seems quite concise and accurate.

The thing is, you repugs knew Chimpy was a creepy idiot, and you rationalized and voted for him anyway. The biggest rationalization, that I remember, was "he'll surround himself with knowledgeable people." Now you see what you've done? The incompetent creep now thinks he's up to the task of "Decidering" on his own. And this is what you get: Shit. Death. Incompetence. Corruption. The loss of several nations. Constitutional crisis. Trillions wasted. Unable to admit a mistake and amend for your ugly behavior, you repug bastards are still cheerleading for the worst (strategic mistake) president in the history of the nation! Your arrogance, hate and cowardice is destoying the US from within.

It's not that the president has some policy initiative in mind whose operational requirements dictate a surge in force levels. Rather, locked in the prison of his own denial he came to the conclusion that he should back an escalation, prompting the current search for a mission.

Chimpy has friends. Chimpy has become..unsound.

Kurtz: "What did they tell you?"
Willard: "They told me that you had gone totally insane, and that your methods were unsound."
Kurtz: "Are my methods unsound?"
Willard: "I don't see any method, at all, sir."

" I've seen horrors...horrors that you've seen. But you have no right to call
me a murderer. You have a right to kill me. You have a right to do that...But
you have no right to judge me. It's impossible for words to describe what is
necessary to those who do not know what horror means.
Horror. Horror has a face...And you must make a friend of horror. Horror and
moral terror are your friends. If they are not then they are enemies to be feared.
They are truly enemies.

This little girl died Wednesday.

She was missing a fang and she liked to sleep next to the sidewalk and say hello to the passersby.

Chimpy's Professor: Chimpy is a punk ass bitch.

Tsurumi concluded: "Behind his smile and his smirk...he was a very insecure, cunning and vengeful guy." "He was just badly brought up, with no discipline, and no compassion." [Ibid] In conservative Lebanon, Pennsylvania, where I grew up during the 1950s and 1960s, such people were called "punks."
