Is America too racist to elect a black man?

Yes. It is. America will not have an African American as President. Too many entrenched fears have contributed to so many wrongs perpretrated in the name of "what is right". Insecure, childish, immature, small minded fools will strike down what could have been America's saving grace.

They were scare shitless when a white man said the same thing Barack did 40 years ago. Prepare for a John McSame, white presidency. We are afraid that after Chimpy, the white racist of America will ensure that Barack will never happen.

They have too much too lose.

Ferraro wants Obama to pay Clinton’s debt

Has she lost her fucking mind? Why in God's name should Obama pay that b-, er woman anything? Debt is natures way of saying "Stop attacking Obama"

DeLay On Obama: ‘Unless He Proves Me Wrong, He Is A Marxist’

Yea. And until he proves otherwise, Tom Delay is STILL an indicted-asshole-has-been-hack. Can't you asshole decide if Obama is a Marxist or a Muslim? They seem to be mutally exclusive.

Chimpy at 25% and falling.

President Bush’s approval rating dropped to just 25 percent, “an all-time low for him and among the lowest approval ratings ever recorded for a President.” At the same time, 67 percent said they disapprove of the job Bush is doing, “the highest such figure in CBS News polls since he assumed office.”
Who are these bush dead-enders that still support such a malignant asshole? What has bush done to warrent any support? What has he touched that he has not fucked up? What has he improved? What has he made better? Can someone show us any measure of improvement as a result of ChimpCo actions? And who could of imagined that a life long failure could be such a fuckup?

Senate Select Intelligence Committee says Chimpy and Darth Vader lied their fucking asses off to decieve the American people about Iraq.

Sounds impeachable to us.

"...our Committee has concluded that the administration made significant claims that were not supported by the intelligence,”

"the president and vice president knew that their claims were incorrect at the time they made them.
"

In other words, the republicants fucking lied and many, many people died for Americas greatest strategic failure.

BushCo tries to saddle America with his abortion of a war permanently

A secret deal being negotiated in Baghdad would perpetuate the American military occupation of Iraq indefinitely, regardless of the outcome of the US presidential election in November.

Are they baldfaced liars too or just naive fools like Scott McClellan?

Scott McClellan apparently didn't realize that his boss and mentor George W. Bush was a baldfaced liar. He was a naive true believer. The real question is why the Villagers were so taken in by what nearly half the country could see was an anti-intellectual manchild with a mean streak a mile wide? Are they baldfaced liars too or just naive fools like Scott McClellan? They are one or the other --- and either makes them unfit to be political commentators.

Bush relied on “propaganda” to sell the war.

Imagine our shock. We had no idea.

McClellan charges that Bush relied on “propaganda” to sell the war.

• He says the White House press corps was too easy on the administration during the run-up to the war.

• He admits that some of his own assertions from the briefing room podium turned out to be “badly misguided.”

• The longtime Bush loyalist also suggests that two top aides held a secret West Wing meeting to get their story straight about the CIA leak case at a time when federal prosecutors were after them — and McClellan was continuing to defend them despite mounting evidence they had not given him all the facts.

• McClellan asserts that the aides — Karl Rove, the president’s senior adviser, and I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby, the vice president’s chief of staff — “had at best misled” him about their role in the disclosure of former CIA operative Valerie Plame’s identity.

What's that again about the Liberal Media?

Atrios asks a question:

A quick stroll through the google tells us that transit ridership is going up everywhere. I do wonder if this will lead to political pressure to improve and expand transit systems.

Answer: NO!

This has been another edition of simple answers to stupid fucking questions.

Once things stop being rights... they are no longer rights, but merely courtesies extended to you by the king (Chimpy) until he decides otherwise.

Government lawyers told federal judges that the president (Chimpy) can send the military into any U.S. neighborhood, capture a citizen and hold him in prison without charge, indefinitely.

'My daughter deserved to die for falling in love'

George aWol Bush would approve of this murder. After all, you don't talk to your enemies.

It was her first youthful infatuation and it would be her last. She died on 16 March after her father discovered she had been seen in public talking to Paul, considered to be the enemy, the invader and a Christian. Though her horrified mother, Leila Hussein, called Rand's two brothers, Hassan, 23, and Haydar, 21, to restrain Abdel-Qader as he choked her with his foot on her throat, they joined in. Her shrouded corpse was then tossed into a makeshift grave without ceremony as her uncles spat on it in disgust.

'Death was the least she deserved,' said Abdel-Qader. 'I don't regret it. I had the support of all my friends who are fathers, like me, and know what she did was unacceptable to any Muslim that honours his religion,' he said.

Sitting on a chair by his front door and surrounded by the gerberas and white daisies he had planted in the family garden, Abel-Qader attempted to justify his actions.

'I don't have a daughter now, and I prefer to say that I never had one. That girl humiliated me in front of my family and friends. Speaking with a foreign solider, she lost what is the most precious thing for any woman.
