Lake Park man David A. Kappheim, allegedly obsessed with Fox News, GOP is in jail after threats made to girlfriend. On Saturday, Kappheim showed up at her friend’s house uninvited and “stark naked,” she said, according to the arrest report. She said he tried strangling her the next day. The couple lived together but she asked him to move out. On Tuesday, Kappheim asked to borrow her car so he could move his belongings out. The woman said she agreed but asked him to drive her to work first. Throughout the ride, the woman said Kappheim drove “recklessly.” When she asked him not to kill her, he allegedly responded by laughing out loud. On Wednesday, she called the sheriff’s office for help. When Kappheim was approached by the arresting deputy, he said “he was very conservative and (his girlfriend) was a liberal.” He also told the deputy that “he felt that he was going to have to kill her,” the report said.

A tough new advert has been put out by a group calling themselves Special Ops OPSEC Education Fund, who say their mission is to "STOP the politicians, President Obama and others, from politically capitalizing on US national security operations and secrets!" The organisation, which claims to be non-partisan despite being fronted by several Republicans, accuses the White House of putting national security at risk by leaking secrets. But its main purpose is to attack President Obama for what it calls his bragging about the killing of Bin Laden and his claim of all the credit for a military operation.

Why did he do it? Matt Bissonnette, who wrote the book No Easy Day under the pseudonym Mark Owen, was effectively pushed out of SEAL Team 6 after he expressed interest last year in leaving the Navy and starting a business. Upset at how he had been treated, Mr. Bissonnette felt less compunction about writing a book that he knew might upset colleagues, the e-book authors say." Why was he pushed out? Because maybe he was an immature prick with a chip on his shoulder who wasn't cut out for leadership?
