Arlan Specter and John McCain are repugs. They matter. Did you notice that the useless bitch Condi Rice took the 5th on this one? Apparently didn't want to implicate herself.
Ted Kennedy, Russ Feingold, Jay Rockefeller and Babs Boxer are Senators, yes, but they be Dems. And Dems got not subpoena power. Dems are so fucking useless. Unless a repug stands up to Dear Leader, this whole impeachable crime will pass.
It will be interesting to see what Monday brings. I've never seem so many upitty white people. Jr. might actually be in trouble here.
The ACLU will sue, of course, and it looks like they got a case. But that will happen LONG after the 2006 elections.
