Seriously, this is disgusting. Declare that 200 kb/second is broadband; declare that if anyone in a Zip code has broadband so defined, everyone has broadband access; and then have the Commerce Secretary laud the president’s policies for creating this “success.”
The reality is that the failure of US policy to create effective competition in broadband access has, predictably, put us behind. One more achievement of the Bush administration.
