Oreo Michael Steele's personal failure on the War On Drugs

The drug war is a failure, but we'll be hard pressed to hear any national leader pushing meaningful reform. Michael Steele characterized the drug war as "new segregation" for its disproportionate effects on African Americans, but suggested Republicans won't take any steps until the Democrats do first.
Some say (strawman!) that only a republican who was hard on communism could of gone to China. (true aside, Dick Nixon slept with Chinese spy Marianna Liu). In the same regard, only an strick asshole republican could admit the racist war on marijuana was a failure. Republicans being racist, don't count on it. Steele is inadvertently right. The Democratic Party will have to drag the troglodyte republicans (thanks Abramoff!) into the 21st century because republicans are simply unfit to lead anything. Including but not limited to police departments, gun ranges, public office, military leadership positions or hall monitors. In fact, republicans should just pee their pants in the sandbox and let progressive, liberal adults use science to evaluate problems, prioritize and solve adult problems. Pot is not a problem. The war on pot is.
