Who is doing real journalism?

If one looks at most of the vital disclosures of the last seven years -- whereby concealed, legally dubious behavior of one of the most secretive administrations of the modern era is exposed -- one finds that such exposure comes overwhelmingly from two sources: (1) conscientious whistle-blowers inside the Government, and (2) advocacy groups such as the ACLU, which have tirelessly waged one litigation battle after the next in order to unearth the Bush administration's secret, improper conduct.

Why Bill O'Reilly Ought to Be Sodomized with a Burning Cross:

Because the Fox "news" commentator and a man who masturbates on all things chick pea-based, in his latest "Talking Points" segment, actually says about a certain left-wing organization, "It is not a stretch to say MoveOn is the new Klan."

Dear John: The only way to "win" in Iraq is to leave

So. How does one define 'victory' in a situation like that?

you can't "win" a completely pointless, absolutely unnecessary war.

Cheers,

Bob "Douche Bag Of Liberty" Novak cited after hitting pedestrian

When asked about it, Novak said, "I didn't see the guy", but somehow know an elderly pedestrian was hit. (Pedestrian, seems to be OK) By the way, what is that creep douche doing in a black convertible corvette?

Novak "keeps trying to get away. He keeps trying to go.” He said he vaguely recognized the longtime political reporter and columnist as a Washington celebrity but could not precisely place him.

Finally, Novak put his head out the window of his car and motioned him over. Bono said he told him that you can't hit a pedestrian and just drive away. He said Novak responded: “I didn’t see him there.”

The story continues to say that because of Novaks Compastionate Conservative principles, he doesn't allow himself to run over jaw-walkers. Does Douche Bags' attempt at murder mean he is becoming a liberal?

CBS edits McCain gaffe from interview, provides fake answer for viewers to cover for McCain

McConfused has dementia. Oh, God why are repukes so evil? McCain is not fit to be a greeter at Walmart.

This one is hard to even explain, it's so bizarre. McCain, looking just awful on camera, made yet another major gaffe about national security policy, on CBS. So what did Katie Couric do? She aired the interview with McCain, aired the question that led to the gaffe, and then inserted an "answer" to the question that wasn't the real gaffe-filled answer

Audit the Federal Reserve.

The Federal Reserve (The Fed) is a private Company.
The Fed prints US currency.
The Fed can not be audited by the IRS or even congress.
Profits of The Fed go to its share holders, not the US Govt.
By the time ChimpCo exits, the US Debt will approach $10 Trillion dollars.

Cindy's pills, John's walker, burning constitution, and Chipy on the wall.

McLame....

Michael Weiner may seem like your typical blustery foaming-at-the-mouth neocon piece of shit.

But really, Michael Weiner is a homosexual, blustery foaming-at-the-mouth neocon piece of shit.

Fox isn't a news network, as Netroots Nation made clear, it's opinion media.

It only took 10 year and it's a small beginning, but hey, payback is still a bitch... We bet faux spews will be getting a lot more of this.

Was Glenn Beck an asshole before he had a child with special needs?

Last week, Media Matters caught right-wing radio talker Michael Savage claiming that autism is a “fraud” and “a racket” where “99 percent of the cases, it’s a brat who hasn’t been told to cut the act out.” Parents of autistic children are outraged, saying Savage’s comments were “way, way, way over the line and cruel.” But Savage refuses to apologize. On Larry King Live last night, he told guest host Glenn Beck that he had simply been “taken out of context” by “men who specialize in hating families and children, namely Media Matters.”

Though Beck said he was sympathetic to someone being taken out of context, he told Savage that “as a dad with a child with special needs,” his baseless attack on autistic children “cuts right.”
