The National Security Agency has acknowledged in a new classified briefing that it does not need court authorization to listen to domestic phone calls.

Rep. Jerrold Nadler, a New York Democrat, disclosed this week that during a secret briefing to members of Congress, he was told that the contents of a phone call could be accessed "simply based on an analyst deciding that."

If the NSA wants "to listen to the phone," an analyst's decision is sufficient, without any other legal authorization required, Nadler said he learned. "I was rather startled," said Nadler, an attorney who serves on the House Judiciary committee

Democrats tried to continue debate but Senate President Mike Ellis (R) called for a vote.

In the end, the bill passed 17 to 15 along party lines. It was immediately referred to the state Assembly, and Gov. Scott Walker (R) has said that he will sign it into law.

NSA spying on Americans is necessary to defend America from Islamist Extremist and Leftist Ideologues

It's a fact that Islamists and Leftists want to destroy the Wests' way of life. Therefore it is necessary to spy on Americans in order to protect them. No one has the privilege of privacy. You do not have the right to privately plan to blow up and assassinate Americans. The NSA will not only record 'metadata' of every cell phone and land line in America and abroad, but all phone conversations will be recorded and monitored as well. The US Government and the Department of Defense will have to grow exponentially in order to monitor all American communications and movements, but that is a small price to pay to be secure from Islamists and Leftists.

To facilitate the lawful conduct of these monitoring efforts, a shadow US Government will have to be formed to provide a check and balance to the 'open', if you will, US Government to assure no wrong doing or unethical or unlawful domestic espionage occurs. This new shadow US Government will not be elected or subjected to harassment from the US court system, but will be staffed by recruits from the existing US spy apparatus and its Department of Defense.

Once the scourge of Islamists and Leftists are controlled, the US Government will begin to crack down on a wide range of crime and potential criminals not limited to: illegal aliens, homosexuals, atheists, tax cheats (poor people only), democrats (of course), communist, libertarians, petty theft, civilian car and motorcycle speeders, homeless, debtors and other unpleasant people.  Since Google and Facebook have also been infiltrated by the US Government, it is now, and will be in the future, easy to infer closeted homosexual and inter-racial perversions, illicit drug use and the propensity for future illicit drug use. Those individuals will be detained for questioning at a later time.

Firearms will continue to be unregulated, as will be all munitions, unless the Government determines they are needed to defend the United States and her Allies. (read Israel and Saudi Arabia)

Credit Card data for personal and business use will be recorded in the surveillance dragnet as well as all known electronic corporate business records.

No US citizenry need be concerned with the legality of these operations, as these measures will be taken in secret, and never, ever be subject opinion or vote from lawful citizens of any earthly country. Domestic US spying, and US imperialism will continue for the foreseeable future.
