Senior McCain campaign officials said McCain knew of the daughter's pregnancy when he selected Palin last week as his vice presidential running mate, deciding that it did not disqualify the 44-year-old governor in any way.
But no one thought it relevant to tell Palin's own spokesman. Uh huh.

Oreo Michael Steele still irrellevant.
As I was trying to get from one end of Denver’s airport to this past Friday after United Airlines screwed up my flight completely, I literally bumped into Michael Steele with coffee in my hand walking to the gate. The news of the Palin VP pick was just announced on TV and I asked him if he was voting for Obama now. He said, “No way.” I yelled that McCain just lost the experience argument that he’s been trying to use on Obama.
He picked up his walking pace as I continued.
“She’s got plenty of experience,” he said.
“And it was a move to try and win over some fictitious Hillary voters and appease the religious right, but one problem was that nobody knows who she is.”
“Everyone knows her,” he said.
“Really? In what way?” I asked. “Do you even know who she is?”
He then ran away…
Karl Rove pushed the whole 5th and 6th baby story. It's a two-fer.
He can blame liberal bloggers while forcing Palin to resign.
No matter what Karl says, McCain still comes off as a senile pervert. Keep up the good work, turd blossom.
Negative Ghost Rider. Is it irresponsible to speculate? It is irresponsible not to.
Fuck you. Either VP select or her Grand Daughter is a whore. (Don't you love the Peggy Noonan pay back?)
Sarah Palin: Soulmate or fuck buddy?
Sarah Palin thinks the Pledge of Allegiance coexisted with the founding fathers.
11. Are you offended by the phrase “Under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance? Why or why not?
Sarah Palin : Not on your life. If it was good enough for the founding fathers, its good enough for me and I’ll fight in defense of our Pledge of Allegiance
Yep. Pledge of Allegiance, written 1892, by Francis Bellamy, a Christian AND and a Socialist. But definitely not a founder.
Of course, even then, "Under God" wasn't part of the Pledge that Bellamy wrote. Those words were inserted in 1954 when Ike and the Congress wanted to show those Commies in the Kremlin that we could make up our own oaths, only with the Almighty in them. "Hey Comrade! Suck. On. That." USA! USA! USA!
This kind of history, of course, is hard to know. What with it being public record and easily available in such remote locales as "The Google". But, I guess, if you want to stretch the definition of the word "Founder" enough it could start with George Washington and end with the debut of "The Transformers" no one can stop you. And that is just what Sarah Palin is willing to do. She's that qualified. She's already manufacturing her own reality.

America — it's becoming a crumbling shithole anyway.

The big story is this: The Democrats have failed to hold the existing administration accountable for its flagrant and abundant crimes against Americans and Iraqis and Afghanis and all humanity. History will not be kind to Nancy and Harry, thanks to their perfect ineffectuality. History will also judge the present crop of American citizens as unbearably privileged and hopelessly idiotic for sitting complacently watching CNN while the oily machinery behind this administration waltzed off with the contents of the US Treasury and whatever coin it found in the pockets of the American working class.
If McCain wins, it will be because Americans deserve him, just as we have deserved Bush Junior. If Obama wins, he will be a glorified janitor for the endless piles of shit the GOP left in its wake. Just as Bill Clinton was for Reagan and Bush Senior.
Our complacency will be our downfall, and I no longer care. Let Rush Limbaugh and ExxonMobil have America — it's becoming a crumbling shithole anyway.
And on that happy note, we end the blog.
They will be back. They always come back.
Palin was never pregnant with her 'fifth' child, Trig. It was a cover up for her 16 year old daughter
Sound judgement for VP candidate. Way to go republicants for not vetting your VP pick. Troopergate not babygate? Tsk, tsk.
Conclusion
There is a lot of smoke here but what is causing it is not clear....yet.
The issues that are troubling and need to be addressed by Gov. Palin:
* Travelling to Dallas at 36 weeks in the first place
* Not going directly to a Dallas hospital once her water broke which would be standard procedure per a number of posts from doctors and newspaper articles
* Flying home 10-12 hours with fluid leaking risking infection and delivery in transit
* Not telling the Airline
* Bypassing the premier area hospital - Providence
o 15 minutes from the Anchorage airport (vs. over an hour to your own w/ no NICU)
o With a NICU to handle a 36 week preemie w/ the double risk of Downs Syndrome baby
o That your OB/GYN was on the staff of
* Dr. Johnson, a family practitioner, is an expert in child and adult sexual abuse,
o What does this mean if anything to the situation?
* Baby delivered in the local hospital by this "expert" even though it was supposedly 4 weeks premature and had Downs Syndrome
* Returning to work after 3 days off after this ordeal
* Running for VP with a new special needs baby
Sarah Palin's baby bump? Not so much.
Troopergate, explained.

We rely on elected officials not to use the power of their office to pursue personal agendas or vendettas. It's called an abuse of power. There is ample evidence that Palin used her power as governor to get her ex-brother-in-law fired. When his boss refused to fire him, she fired his boss. She first denied Monegan's claims of pressure to fire Wooten and then had to amend her story when evidence proved otherwise. The available evidence now suggests that she 1) tried to have an ex-relative fired from his job for personal reasons, something that was clearly inappropriate, and perhaps illegal, though possibly understandable in human terms, 2) fired a state official for not himself acting inappropriately by firing the relative, 3) lied to the public about what happened and 4) continues to lie about what happened.
These are, to put it mildly, not the traits or temperament you want in someone who could hold the executive power of the federal government.
McCain has a crush on Palin
John McCain, in his first television interview since his shocking vice presidential pick, said that he saw in Sarah Palin “a partner and a soul mate.”
He's only met her once. Yes, John McCain is a creepy, 72 year old pervert who is crushing on a 40 year old MILF. Creepy, creepy creepy.
