Wisconsin Standoff; Budget Cuts; Middle East Crackdown

This weeks recap: Matt gets pissed off. Villager Matt Miller begins by calling himself the "Extreme Political Center" and lets Robert kickoff on the Wisconsin Standoff. As usual, Robert calls it, balls and strikes. Matt says every governor in every state wants to bust unions, so, Scott Walker is NOT being partisan. Robert points out that is the TeaBag narrative and that Unions are not to blame for the current financial crisis. That Banksters and republican inability to cut war spending caused the financial crisis. Tony is facetious about the Wisconsin defense budget and makes a cut to Robert. Robert balks and Matt rebuffs Robert, not Tony. Tony continues. He spits out some percentages that will never be checked and says it's inevitable that Unions must be busted.

Matt: Robert, how do you respond to these facts that Tony just presented? Robert: The economy tanked because of the Banksters! Screw the banks, cut defense and leave the honest workers of American alone!

Matt: Robert, the Wisconsin budget deficit is 3 billion dollars (it's 2)! We have to screw the Unions.

Tony: Its a last stand by the Union to intimidate taxpayers! It's calculated! Liberals bussed in people!!

Matt: Robert, why cant you follow the conservative position that Unions Be Accountable?

Robert: This is not about balancing the deficit, it's about Union busting.

Matt: Wisconsin doesn't have a defense budget!

Robert: Don't make a mockery of this debate! Tony & Matt yell at Robert saying the Federal Govt doesn't have money to bail out states. The Fed would have to borrow. The Fed Govt waste money.

Robert: Bailing out states makes economic sense in this crisis. 600 Billion for banks but we can't find 2 Billion for Wisconsin?

Tony: We must make DMV employees contribute to their pensions and cut Veteran benefits. Matt agrees his is conservative like Tony. Says we have to cut Social Security. Robert calls Tony and Matt on their bullshit.

Matt: (Pissy) All state deficits are 170 Billion!

Robert: We gave AIG 200 Billion and AIG should of gone bankrupt. Matt says something snotty.

Tony: We had to save the economy. That was then. Now, it's time to bust Unions!

Matt: We have to move on. Tony, give us some spin?

Tony: Fiscal 2012 must cut entitlements. Our hands are tied until then. Boener must be complimented.

Matt: (Still pissy) Robert, admit Social Security must be cut.

Robert: No, Social Security does not need to be cut. The Military Industrial Complex on the other hand...

Matt: Bahrain. Tony?

Tony: As long as Israel benefits. Meh. Oil maybe.

Matt: American Values! Robert notices Freedom to republicans is good as long as Israel is happy. Oil keeps us from taking the side of Freedom. Oil taxes might be good.

End Of Show, Around the Table Rant.
Robert: Clinton, Obama cut social programs.

Tony: Saint Petraeus is going to resign and give up on Afghanistan. We told him so, right here.

Matt: We are going to have to cut public health care and recruit teachers and give them raises.

Not all haters are right wing. But if you are a hater, your probably right wing.

Republicans are right. Political correctness is over rated.

Just go ahead and call

Nigga Herman Cain says "stupid people are ruining America"

"They call me racist too because I happen to disagree with the president," Cain said at the Conservative Political Action Conference Friday. "If you disagree about their liberal leader you must be a racist no matter what color you are."

Cain said his disagreement with Obama was based on policies, not race. "Some black people can think for themselves," he said.

He told the crowd: "You are not racist."

Hey Herman, Allen West, Condoleezza Rice, Colin Powell and the other house negro, Harold Ford wish to start a PAC with you.

contagious delusions (AKA Glenn Becks chalk board)

The amazing thing is that A does not simply shrug off B's explanations as unnecessarily complicated or even absurd, but is impressed by their sophisticated "brilliance." "A" tends to feel inferior and vulnerable because of the pedestrian simplicity of his assumption, and the more complicated "B"'s "delusions", the more likely they are to convince A.

Scumbag Andrew Breitbart is being sued by "institutional left" Shirley Sherrod.

The New York Times reports today Breitbart was served with the lawsuit at CPAC Saturday. Sherrod contends in the suit that a video clip he posted last year “has damaged her reputation and prevented her from continuing her work.”

Scumbag Andrew Breitbart said he thought “it would be a fun thing to do.”

Ann Coulter: What's more important to America? Egyptian loyalty or democratic elections in Egypt?

Israel, of course. You stupid fucking hippies and your 'democracy'.

Because The Village is old, white and republican.

Looking over the guest lists for all of the Sunday shows, viewers will see two Republican senators (McCain, Graham), three Republican House members (Boehner, Ryan, Schilling), three likely Republican presidential candidates (Barbour, Gingrich, Pawlenty) … and zero Democrats from Congress or the Obama administration.

Wolfowitz Asks if Likud Can be Considered Legitimate if They Don't Concede Equal Rights to Palestinians.

WOLFOWITZ: I could offer you an opinion, but I really hesitate to do so because I think Israelis have to decide that. And I hope that they will think about as they make those decisions whether a legitimate political party, a party, a political party can be considered legitimate if for example they don't concede equal rights to Palestinians.

Mubarak Steps Down; Fannie and Freddie's Future; Budget Wars

Arriana was not in town. Still stuffing $1000 dollar bills in her mattress for selling Huntington Post to AOL. The deal, we understand, gives not a red cent to the bloggers who create the content. If true, that's sort of a real Dick Move by Arriana.

With out Arriana to to cool things off, we expected Tony to go full wing nut. Robert started the hour moderately, which is par for course. Next, Tony confessed to fearmongering the last two weeks about 'radical islamist' taking over Egypt in his Washington rag. No reasons given. Tony's next point is that we should have a Manhattan Project develop 'domestic oil, shale, natural gas, coal and nuclear' energy because "the Chinese are already gobbling up all the oil in Africa". Matt Miller coos, "Interesting", and tries to follow Tony's deeply flawed logic with a narrative he makes up on the fly in order make sense of Tony's word salad.

This is where Arriana would gently refute Tony but she's not there so Tony goes on to fearmonger about Iran and Saudi fuel insecurity with more non-logic word salad.
Since Arriana isn't there, Matt fills in and rather confirms Tony's narrative.

Robert points out that Tony is full of shit on his Drill, Baby, Drill theory of Mubaraks' fall. Robert goes on to make many salient points. Lets wait for Tony's firebomb.
Tony: This is The West (Israel) VS Radical Islam. We must protect Israel! Note: Tony never mentions Israel by name in that rant.

At this point Matt notices Robert is pissed, not that Tony is baselessly fearmongering about Islam.
Robert called Tony on being an Islamaphobe bigot and points out that Iran and Saudi Arabia are not oil insecure. Matt cuts Robert off, "We're going to have to leave that there". Does Matt have Stockholm Sydrome?

The next segment was on Fannie and Freddie. Robert tee's off as per usual with non disputed discussion of the bank crisis and F & F, but firmly blames banksters for the crisis. Tony has no firebombs. Matt says nothing remarkable.

The last segment was budget wars. Tony states the sees a TeaBagg VS GOP fight on budget cuts. Robert thinks the glibertarians should be pushing for defense cuts. Matt thinks everyone should agree that medicare, medicade & social security need to be cut before we look at cutting defense spending.

With that mediocre show, it concluded with the round table rant.

Tony: As for the budget, all republicans want is to go back to 2008 spending levels. It's a practical "and reasonable place".

Robert: The Bansters fucked up and the taxpayers are suffering for their crimes.

Matt: Egypt's military will be reluctant to give up power.
